We Want To Get High.

Time after time I have been involved in discussions when people ask, Why are drugs illegal? Or Why don't they regulate them? Or Why were they once legal but now they aren't? Or Why is that the illegal drug market still operates? I don't have the  answers to these questions but it important to understand why people ask them.Putting your own views, morals, religious beliefs or opinions aside for a moment the simple and natural fact is there are a lot people who want to get high.

Ever since we began to use opposable thumbs, Humans and animals alike have been searching for and consuming things around them to change their state of mind or to simply get high. Great civilizations: The Romans, Chinese, Indian and African Dynasties to the Incans, Mayans and many other diverse cultures certainly have at least the one consistently common past time: They liked to get high.

But lets fast forward to more recent times. With the vast social change in drug policy that has occurred over the past couple of centuries, the freedom of this once socially acceptable behavior of "choosing your poison" and experiencing it for recreational, spiritual, or whatever other purpose has been narrowed. The offering you must now choose from without facing the of consequences of the breaking the law is very slim and increasingly more expensive.

Why do OPP's products make sense then?

For you (the consumer) they offer that long sort after experience of getting high without that guilty fear of breaking the law. They are consistently the same experience with fully disclosed ingredients. They are also cheaper than the risky illegal products available.

For Them (the government & regulators): They present a Reduction in policing, social and health costs associated with banned and illegal substances. Self regulated, self funded safer alternative which offers increased tax revenue from GST and potential exercise levy's.

Now, you may read this, look at the site and form the opinion that because this site sells these products it must have a bias view and the products don't work as well as the we say they do. You may believe that we shouldn't need to swallow pills and smoke plants to have fun. You may even think the Govt should altogether ban everything including what little choice we now have left (cigarettes & alcohol). What ever your opinion I encourage you to express it  below but remember no matter how, from who, for whatever reason there are a lot of people who simply want to get high.

I think that you can have a spiritual experience when you've had a drug like ecstacy. It teaches you to see things differently (in all aspects of life). I was a very quiet and boring person who didn't see the world as being much at all and then I had ecstacy and OMG boy did I see what that beautiful and sensational euphoric feeling can do. It makes you realise that you can feel good, you just need to see things from another perspective.
